Introduction

This is the place where I intend to shove my opinions on gaming down your throat.

Is this a particularily new or fresh or interesting idea? No. Is it a page where I can showcase my writing and at the same time scream at the internet at the top of my lungs? Yes. The basic intent is to just offer up a northern frozen perspective on gaming and game related news as well as impressions of games. It's a good time to start this up due to two new systems recently being released (even if Sony is shafting Europe as usual and Nintendo fucked up on delivery to us) and I've long felt like airing out some of my admittedly predictable thoughts on a subject I am passionate about.

I have no idea if this will bring anything new to the table, this will be revealed in time. It will be opinionated and probably flavoured by fanboy tendencies from time to time. There will be no material here that is not related to games. The first things I intend to post are my impressions of the Wii based on a few days of playtime. There might be some retro reviews and the occasional rant about general game related news if it shakes my monkey tree sufficiently. I will also soon place a few links to sites I regularily use and abuse, do not be surprised if I refer to them and get my news from them (I'm looking at you, Kotaku).

A quick explanation of the name. On the one hand, anyone who played games back in the day will get this fairly basic reference. It is, however, also the name me and a couple of friends used for a mock game page we made for a university course in web design.. it was a fucking horrible and patronizing course, but we had some fun with it.
